This incident has been resolved and the status of the messages updates as per usual to Verizon US network.

Starting on 04:40 UTC, we have detected delays in receiving message status events for some messages sent over shortcode to US Verizon mobile recipients. There is no impact to actual message delivery. Our engineers are working with our carrier partner to resolve the issue. We will provide an update as soon as we have additional information.
