Malformed Multi-Segment Incoming SMS Messages Not Logged

Resolved

Due to an internal error that occurred from 12:28 PST 8/18 through 12:58 PST 8/23, malformed incoming multi-segment SMS messages were not logged. These messages are normally logged with Twilio error 30009:

The issue has now been resolved, and malformed incoming messages are now being logged.

Our engineers are currently investigating the customer impact of a retroactive issue that affected logging of incoming messages. Note this is specific to incomplete multi-segment messages, which are typically logged with Twilio error 30009. We will follow up and provide customer impact details within 2 hours.
