Twilio and other vendors have seen an extreme increase in Voice traffic in Canada which has caused Voice Networks to be severely saturated.
We have seen recovery of the Voice Network as peak workday time on Friday has passed. We expect this recovery will extend into the weekend.
Carriers in Canada are responding to the increased demand of Voice and Internet capacity and are working very hard to swiftly increase their available resources. Twilio is receiving updates from our carrier partners and will continue to monitor and report status of this event.
Although this overload condition does exist, all issues reported to Twilio Support will continue to be investigated fully.
