WhatsApp Sandbox Messages Not Returning Delivery Status (stuck in "Sent")

We are no longer experiencing WhatsApp Sandbox delivery status failures. This issue is now resolved.

Our engineers implemented a fix and we are observing successful status updates. We will continue monitoring the service to ensure a full recovery. We will provide another update in 30 minutes or as soon as more information becomes available.

We are investigating an issue where WhatsApp Sandbox messages are not updating delivery status. Messages are delivering successfully but the messages status stays “sent”. Production WhatsApp usage is not affected. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue. We will provide another update in 1 hour or as soon as more information becomes available.
