While working with our carrier partners, we learned that the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) have recently issued a directive to restrict international Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS, due to the general election in Tanzania. The directive is expected to be in place until Nov 11th, and could impact all local networks in Tanzania. We have reached out to affected customers about this notice and hence are closing the incident out.
