Character Encoding Issues on Verizon's Message+ App

We have confirmed that we are no longer seeing encoding issues on Verizon Message+. All messages delivered and displayed normally.

Investigating

We have detected an intermittent issue sending text messages to Verizon's Message+ App. In some cases, some of the letters in the outbound message are converted to different characters after being sent. We are working with our carrier partner to resolve the issue.
